Any 2011 Brides out there?

Michelle- your dress is to die for!!!! It is so unique!!!!!

Prettypigpig - I like how you think. I agree! " I don't think wearing a wedding band guarantees a good marriage. Love comes from the heart, not from a diamond."

That's a good point, and one I didn't think of. Maybe you could try one on and see if it irritates the skin? If it does, maybe you could get one that has the diamonds stop where your engagement ring's diamonds stop...that way, the diamonds are pointing upward, not outward, and there shouldn't be any irritation. Or get an eternity band with the diamonds inset (channel) rather than lying on top of the band.

Arrr thanks girls, I love it! I tried on a few different styles but this one suited me the best. It's a size 8 (only cos i have no boobs and a small waist) It covers my big butt and hips (i'm a typical pear shape). I'd like to loose some weight off my bottom half and tone up and i've started the exercise already! The twist stepper is out and i've got a new dvd (Hannah Waterman one) and boy does it work you!! I'm not really a gym person and i hate running so i do the home exercise and go swimming when i can.

Mischaka - well done you! That's great!

I made our engagement invites and really enjoyed that. I like making my own cards etc. For our AHR i will probably do the same and FI works for a print firm so will try and get him to print the wording in them :o)

Nicola, I guess we are on the same boat! Finance chicks doing all the forecast models, research into every single details, limiting the VaR and unintented exposures, maximize the Alpha! LOL

Michelle, all ur ring need is a rodium dip, then ur ring will look like new!

the ring irritation can be caused by nickel allergy, even it is a 18K, sometimes it contains some nickel in it, and some people have allergy. I have seen others who got itchy patches at the ring finger, and all they wear is a simple band.

For my STDs, I picked the DIY paper airplane on Martha Stewart's wedding website. I used Adobe Photoshop to add the text on the template.Click the image to open in full size.

My TA suggested it and I am interested in checking it out. There is a thread that I have checked out specifically for the AS that has a lot of info...kinda tough to go through 400+ pages but its useful and the girls are helpful. I can let you know my experience when we get back and if we decided to go for it...
I'll definitely check out the thread. So far it has been very helpful and so full of information. That would be great! Thank You! I look forward to hearing all the details when you return.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
