Hey guys I am gettin married July 2nd 2011. I have booked my wedding and I have booked my suite already. I am working with Elite Travel. They have been working with ROR since they opened and the gave me pre-published rates. I even have the ability to get a price match if I find that suite for cheaper on a site like expedia. Slso my guest and begin booking through her. Also the suites are beautiful it just depends what you want to look at. A garden or the beach? I love the garden so that was my choice.

I was wondering how many nights your prices you have listed below were for. My TA won't give us quotes until May 16th because she wants to include the airfare which won't be out until then. Is the 11th room free if you do a group rate reservation or individuals linking them to your wedding? I am not sure if I want to do a group rate since the flights and dates would have to be the same for everyone. Some people are planning on staying longer than others.

Thanks

Hi Ladies! I'm getting married May 21, 2011 - ceremony, dinner and reception locations are booked! I would also suggested contacting Chandlyn asap, as ROR is quiet the popular Wedding resort.

My TA has quoted me $1608 for double occupancy and $1588 for triple occupancy flying out of Toronto, with a price match guarantee! She works out of New Wave Travel in Toronto, and I would highly recommend her. We currently have 20 guests booked!

Hello ladies :

My fiancee and I will be getting married in April 2011. At this point we have booked the date and time of the ceremony, we are yet to contact the Wedding coordinator to book the location. I better do that fast since i see they book pretty fast.

My TA was able to get me $1499 + 177.89 Cad for double occupancy. I thought it was high but i realize that is fairly good comparing prices with you guys.

I can not wait for this special day, im just not sure about the package i would like to take, although i think it can be changed in the last minute.

Anyhow, now off to introduce myself :

Name : Yeny

Canadian , but born in Cuba ( not travelling there for my marriage for many reasons )

Wedding date : April 5/2011 at 5pm.

Happy planning all,, this site is amazing !

Hello fellow brides!

I am getting married on may 25, 2011. We will be at the ROR the week of May 23-20...

I have been quoted and sealed the deal on the price of $1350 + $189.16 (tax) = $ 1539.16 departing from Toronto. This includes 1:11 free, price drop protection, $500 voucher for furture travel and $500 voucher for gift items.

I thought this was an amazing deal so i jumped on it, my travel agents contact info is :

She has done an AMAZING job finding me the best price. I had been in contact with 4 other TA's who all quoted me higher than her AND three of them never even got back to me... you would think when your going to make commission off a group worth $80000 + you'd be on the ball!

But I highly suggest contacting Shelley if your still undecided about booking and where.... she will find you a good deal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
