Hi Brooke,

You do have some beautiful places to select from. A lot depends on your budget and what you want.

I had the opportunity to visit with many of the venues this past December. We stayed at the Barcelo Maya Place and they offer anything you or your guests may want. They have five different price levels, but each one is beautiful! They have a lovely gazebo as well as beach front sites.

One of the things we got to participate in was a Maya Wedding. The bride arrived via canoe from the ocean then the ceremony was performed on the beach, followed by the reception on the beach. It was really beautiful. This is something each of the venues do with some variations.

The Grand Palladium in Riviera Maya was lovely.Fiesta Hotel Group: The Royal Suites, Palladium Resorts, Fiesta Hoteles, Fresh Apartamentos, Ayre Hoteles - Información, Reservas y Ofertas

Be sure to check out Dolphin Discovery for a great experience. Swim with Dolphins at Dolphin Discovery on Mexico and the Caribbean.

Another place to consider is Campeche. This is a very authentic Mexican experience, beautiful and not as well known.Campeche

Hopefully this will help. If you need further assistance such as coordinators in that area, please let me know and I'll be glad to give you some names. However, you might want to work with someone from the US to be there with you as well so you don't have to worrry about anything.

Hi,

I am considering having my wedding at the NH riviera, but since it is a catholic wedding I'd have to go to puerto morelos' chapel, have you worked for any wedding there? I'd love to see some samples and to have your quotes for a session this summer, including shoots of the party, getting ready, etc. Thanks a lot

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
