With all of the things that we need to transport to the wedding, this is not good news at all. Too bad Southwest doesn't fly to the Caribbean - two free bags would be so amazing!

I know that would be wonderful if southwest went down there. We are only going for a 8 days so we are trying to take one bag each and then a third box with wedding stuff in it. That way we only have to pay for on bag.

They are too damn greedy! I don't care...jet fuel isn't ridiculous anymore and they are still trying to find ways to collect! Go Southwest...kill 'em with commercials!
I've booked Heather Parker for my photographer for my April 2, 2011 wedding in Ochi Rios, Jamaica. If anyone is getting married in Jamaica days before or after me and is interested sharing her travel expenses to save few wedding budget bucks, let me know. Take a look at her work for Moon Dance...

Airlines have gradually been raising the fees they charge for checked bags. These fees are among the many things that an increasing number of air passengers are not satisfied with. The greatest collector is Delta Airlines, which accumulated almost $900 million in baggage charges alone last year. The airline will hit $1 billion in baggage charges by 2014 at its existing pace.
