Not long till your shoot do you have everything all together?
OMG wednesday is coming round sooooo quick!! I think I'm as sorted as I'm ever going to be...but that's not necessarily as sorted as I should be! just panicking I think....I'll be glad when I've done it and I can forget about it. I've spent so long stressing about this - I'll love it, i know that, but I will be relieved when it's over.

  • Have your eyebrows waxed or tweezed a few days prior to your session to avoid red skin and puffiness (same for the bikini area)
  • Moisturize your skin the morning of your session. Don't use self tanners or body oil at that time since those can damage or discolor your lingerie or the photographers furniture and fabrics.
  • Tell your photographer what you like best about yourself and if there is an area about yourself that you'd like to minimize.
  • Have your hair and makeup professionally done.
  • Don't party the night before your session.
  • Don't wear tight fitting clothes to your session. Lines even from socks around your ankles can take hours to disappear.
  • Don't get a sunburn before your session. Tan lines will show. If you've never visited a tanning booth or used a self-tanning lotion, try it once before doing it for the first time before your session.
  • Bring some of your own music for the photographer to play during your session.
  • Have Fun feeling Sexy, sweet, playful, sultry and beautiful!

Katie, just relax - you're going to look amazing & have a fabulous time!! Come back & tell us how it goes! :)

btw, girls, I didn't end up wearing any jewelry except my e-ring & a pair of diamond earrings and I didn't use any props (except the furniture, beaded curtain, & mirror that she had there). The pics are great & I didn't feel like anything was missing when I looked at them w/ Jen (photog). So no stressing necessary to find the "right" props. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
