well I've now only got 6 and a half weeks until my shoot! going underwear/outfit/shoe/accessory shopping in 3 weekends time so will hopefully feel a bit more organised then!

I can't wait to get it done so I can come back and say (hopefully!!) how brilliant it was!!

Reading this thread really makes me wish my BD session was now and not July! Ok, well almost since I need to lose at least 13lbs before then!

I was wondering what on earth I need and what I am going to do/wear and this was really helpful (next I am on to the other thread for poses). I know I have a while but it might take me that long to figure it all out!

Thanks ladies!

Katie a veil is a excellent idea!!

I only have shoes, 2 paris of ruffle bum undies (one with garter), stockiings and pearls.

I think taking too much will complicate things, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Oh and a bra with some bling in the front.

I am really nervous too but we will be in mexico so I hope i will be more relaxed!!

Amy is absolutley right about getting glammed up.I bought rediculously long eyelashes for my shoot. I would never wear them out but they are very sexy and perfect for a BD shoot.Got them at MAC

Alcohol is a must in my opinion! lol

Thanks so much ladies, this is so helpful.

I was really on the fence about this but I think I am going to do it now, forget about the budget wink.gif

can anyone recommend anyone in the DC/baltimore/Northern virginia area? Things can get really expensive around here and I don't want to get ripped off.

Thanks

hey you, fancy seeing you here! lol

well you sound much more prepared than me - all I've got already is a white corset (to go with the bridal theme pics)...but omg I didn't even think about a garter!!!! see, this is why I did this thread!

I am also gutted I won't be able to drink too sad.gif I am having to drive to my photog and my 2 mates coming with me won't be driving (for various reasons) so I'll just have to act sloshed instead!! haha

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
