Confused noob!

Recommended Posts

I booked my wedding through scenic Las Vegas weddings, and they have been great with any questions I had, and their prices seems reasonable, my wedding is not until October 10 2010, but I am looking forward to it, and like Princess P said above their pictures look really good to.

Are you planning on having a wedding reception afterwords? For our reception we decided to go with Lawrys Prime Rib, it is a couple of blocks off the strip, and Michelle there has been great with booking everything I need, and providing vendors for stuff the resturant does not provide. We also booked a pent house suite for afterwards, so we can all go and dance and drink, and hang out. I have a small wedding 24 people so that worked best, and is more intimate then going to a bar (I Think)

I did look into using Scenic las Vegas weddings but I read a lot of reviews saying the photographer Troy was always late and on his phone etc. That put me off quite a bit, but I agree the pictures he takes look great! Oh i'm so confused!!!!

I also have no plans whatsoever for what to do afterwards, I was thinking of maybe hiring a photographer to take wedding pics on the strip but the few i have contacted are quite pricey, so i'm undecided. My wedding party is going to be 8 people so I don't know whether to book somewhere for a reception or just see how we feel when we get there.

Any ideas would be welcomed!

Well, just FYI I'm getting married at The Grove it is BEAUTIFUL and they have several outdoor ceremony sites as well as a couple of indoor reception facilities. You should definitely check it out! They are AMAZING and can accommodate you with everything! The best thing is the prices! Here is their website. PM me if you need more info about it!

I know how you feel! There are so many different venues it can be a little overwhelming! We are looking at working with Scenic Las Vegas Weddings because their packages are very reasonable and their photographer is amazing! Now we are just struggling to find a hotel to stay at (neither of us have been to Vegas). Good Luck and keep us posted!

Hiya Miranda!

We've just decided to get married next year in Las Vegas and I'm at the 'trawling the internet and feeling as lost as before I started' stage. I'm wondering about photographers and places for reception meals, but like you I'm having a very small party - Just me, OH and two sets of parents - so 6 to your 8. Please keep us posted on what you find and I'll do the same if you like. xxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
