Aloha,

 

I'm Shannon, newbie to the site. My boyfriend and I had a vacation planned to Hawaii and with three weeks away, we've decided to get married while out there! We're going at the end of Jan and will stay through the first week of Feb. We're staying a few days in Oahu, then flying to Kauai for a few days, then back to Oahu. Our hope is to get married in Oahu, before we fly out to Kauai.

 

Hoping to get find some useful information and possible leads of who, what, where and how!

 

Thanks for all the great information you've all provided.

Hi Shannon. I am new on here as well so I am not sure what we are able to post or not. I will tell you I have been to both islands and both were beautiful. Be prepared that Kaui is very mellow very peaceful and just a perfect place to relax. Oahu is more upbeat and has an area where its pretty much like a major city, shopping, very busy but nice. I have a cousin who lives on Kaui and is a wedding photographer. I am not sure if I can post her website so if you are interested in a photographer private message me. Other than that I cant help with anything else. Lots of luck with your planning.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
