I am not getting married at any of those places. But last year when i stayed at Gran Bahia Principe (also getting married there) my FI and i walked thru the majestic, and its amazing! Very modern if thats what your looking for. Our friends stayed there during the sametime we stayed at the Bahia, and they loved!!!!! it there.

What about Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana, in Punta Cana DR.

I am planning on using them for my wedding in May 2011.

Any feedback!

Also I need help finding a bakery there to do my cake.

I am getting married at the Melia in May 2011! I have stayed there before, and have also stayed at the Majestic Ellegance's sister resort (Majestic Colonial) and really enoyed them both, However my FI and I were overall much more impressed with the ammenities, food and beach at the Melia, which is why we booked our wedding there. Depends what you are looking for.  My fiancee and had a list and finally decided on the Majestic Colonial.  Our family and close friends will be attending and we needed a resort that would cater to all age groups, children activites, does amazing weddings, wasn't too crowed, golf, various wedding choices (chapel, gazebo, beach).  My highly recommended advice would be to check out www.tripadvisor.com.

Deciding on a resort has probably been the hardest thing for me.  I kept going back between two hotels.  In the end, I chose the Majestic and am extremely happy with my choice.  So far all the reviews have been positive and the most important thing for me is that they have many activities for adults and children.  We're having a large group 60-80 people, so it's important for the hotel to have lots of entertainment.
