I didn't get married yet, but my photographer is Brian Nejedly. I will see if i can post the rate info in my reply. The packages 2009 are rates for brian nejedly. I am getting my rate off this page since i contacted him when it was 2009. I'm not sure if he changed the prices at all. But he seems really reasonable and he responds to all of your questions really quickly! he also made my resort suggestion, so he's very helpful.

Don't know much about the other photographer. RiU said this was their photographer, i believe its michael..not sure though. The weddings 2010 are their package prices.... not brian nejedly's. other ladies have posted about him.

I know if you bring a photographer in you have to pay for a day pass. you might even have to pay for the one riu suggested because it is a company outside the RIU, but since its the one they suggested you may not have to pay for a day pass . I would ask.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

I am also using Brian. He did just raise his prices for 2010. The packages now includes a photo book and that has increased the price a bit. He is very responsive to emails and I love that. His web-site in briandesign.net

You can also ask him if he has an assistant who can be your photog for a lower price. I read somewhere here that a Bride did that and saved some money and liked her pictures.

The other photog I liked but was not free on my dates was Stacy Clark.

Thanks....i really liked Stacy Clarke too...i am just waiting to hear back if she will do one of the smaller packages in Montego Bay.

We arrive on March 7th and Leave March 14th. Our wedding is on the 11th - and i think we are doing the private beach reception. I emailed the WC over 2 weeks ago, but still have not heard anything back.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
