need safe relatively inexpensive hotel in cabo

Recommended Posts

hola! im off to shoot elizabeths wedding at las ventanas in cabo the first week in august (and courtneys ES and BD pics. i wont forget you courtney!) during the contracted "wedding time" we are staying at las ventanas. yes living like photography rock stars :) but since we are staying a week to do some sight seeing and cool local photography we need a place to stay the rest of the time. as much as id like to stay at las ventanas the entire time i just cant! the personal working with me is male and speaks spanish and i feel that gives me more flexibility on where i stay however we need it to be a safe place as we will have all our gear with us. if they have a safe thats a bonus! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks - leigh

if you stay in Cabo, Bahia Condos is a nice hotel and inexpensive especially in that month....it is very safe and has a safe...lol

Erik and I always stay there in Cabo.....We like it because we take with us all our diving equipment (which is very expensive) and nothing happens to them....

I recommend this place

Hi leigh,

There are lost of nice hotels here in San Jose I don´t know if you prefer to stay in San Lucas, in San Jose you can check El Encanto Inn, Casa Natalia and Tropicana these are in down town san jose they are very very nice! I can say I like more El Encanto or Tropicana you can check their web page, there are also some big all inclusive resorts like royal solaris, presidente, Grand baja.

I hope you have a great time!

thanks for the info ladies. the kind of PIA deal is we will be there for 1 night then checking into LV. then need it for another 2-3. i guess we can go to more than one place too. do you think we could just walk up to a hotel and check in without reservations? they might try to charge us more huh?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
