Jeez - Tammy, I think you need a new coordinator.

So, here is what we are doing.

The judge is doing the full legal ceremony as it's supposed to be. In Spanish. It will be translated, though.

Then, my bridesmaid is saying a 2 or 3 minute thing. We end with vows. I am having Maye (or her husband) officiate this part of the ceremony.

We will sign the judges papers after we're done.

Sorry this is long...but this is what I have come across so far. I plan on taking these notes with me & sitting at our ceremony location to gather my thoughts (since everything is wedding planning right now!) & write my vows.

Hope something here helps someone!!

I will love you as deeply as the ocean, as steadily as the waves, as full of life as the world below the surface and as refreshingly as a plunge into cool waters on a hot summer day. We’ll live a life of adventure, we’ll travel the world, and we’ll dive into the future starting right here, right now…

I would go to the ends of the earth to take you as my husband…and as everyone here can attest, it seems we have!!

Now, as we stand at the ocean’s edge, I am saying yes to our promises to love one another forever, to be faithful always, to be partners and friends.

To love is nothing

To be loved is something

To love & be loved is everything

I promise to love you, comfort and encourage you, be open and honest with you, and stay with you as long as we both shall live.

In front of our family & friends, overlooking the ocean, I promise….

Words for Use in Creating Wedding Vows…

The Love & Romance Home Pageâ„¢ Wedding Resources - Wedding Vows Gallery - Words Used in Creating Wedding Vows

I (name), take you (name) to be my (husband/wife), my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. I will trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we may face together. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love, from this day forward for as long as we both shall live.

(Name), from the moment I first saw you, I knew you were the one with whom I wanted to share my life. Your beauty, heart, and mind inspire me to be the best person I can be. I promise to love you for eternity, respecting you, honoring you, being faithful to you, and sharing my life with you. This is my solemn vow.

(Name), today I take you to be my (husband/wife). Together we will create a home, becoming a part of one another. I vow to help create a life that we can cherish, inspiring your love for me and mine for you. I vow to be honest, caring and truthful, to love you as you are and not as I want you to be, and to grow old by your side as your love and best friend.

As we stand beside the ocean tide,

may our love always be as constant and unchanging

as these never-ending waves that pour beneath our feet,

flowing endlessly from the depths of the sea;

your love came softly upon my heart,

just as the foam comes softly upon the sand,

and just as there will never be a morning

without the ocean's flow,

so there will never be a day

without my love for you.

I pledge myself to you this day.

Our love will be as unchanging

and dependable as the tide;

as these waters nourish the earth

and sustain life, may my constant devotion

nourish and sustain you

until the end of time.

I promise to give you the best of myself

and to ask of you no more than you can give.

I promise to respect you as your own person

and to realize that your interests, desires and needs

are no less important than my own.

I promise to share with you my time and my attention

and to bring joy, strength, and imagination to our relationship.

I promise to keep myself open to you,

to let you see through the window of my world into my innermost

fears and feelings, secrets and dreams.

I promise to grow along with you,

to be willing to face changes in order to keep our relationship

alive and exciting.

I promise to love you in good times and bad,

with all I have to give and all I feel inside in the only way I know how.

Completely and forever.

When you need someone to encourage you, I want it to be me. When you need a helping hand, I want it to be mine. When you long for someone to smile at, turn to me. When you have something to share, share it with me.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
