I always thought my Grandfather would walk me down the aisle. He passed away a while ago and I would like to acknowledge what his role should have been. Does anyone have any ideas?

You can include the same song that he used for his fist dance when he got married. Include a photo of him as part of your bouquet. You can walk down the isle alone and leave a message at the bottom of your program explaining why you are walking down alone. When my dad passed away, one of my church members suggested that if I ever had someone walk me down the isle, they should walk me down on the opposite side and let everyone know the original side was reserved for my dad who is with us in spirit.

      Hope this helps.
