Kathy that is a ton of water!!! If I manage to do 1-2L I am happy (and in the bathroom peeing all day!!). I need to work on that for sure.

I generally take a piece of fruit and a granola bar or a sandwich to work with me each day. The problem is I get busy and quite often don't remember to eat it until 2 or so and then I am starving!! Luckily there is no other food in sight so other than my mid-afternoon Pepsi (and I have tried to break the habit but just not going to happen...) there is nothing to eat until I get home.

Cooking a nice piece of salmon right now, yummy!

PHEW! I'm glad we have such a big group this year, it will really make things competitive!! I obviously don't count towards the competition part, but I am going to weigh myself and be accountable just like you girls!! hehe

Now... LETS DO THIS! No excuses, no bullsh*t! smile159.giffoshizzle.bmp

Maders, I can only imagine how horrible Crohn's is when you're trying to lose weight!

Recently I got diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (which feels like you have a UTI that you can't make go away with antibiotics), and my doctor gave me a list of foods that I should avoid.

Some of them are no problem when you're trying to diet (like soda and bacon) but others are ridiculous (like salad dressing, seasoning, apples, bananas, cantaloupes, citrus fruits, grapes, nectarines, peaches, pineapples, plums, pomegranates, and strawberries). I just feel like it's hard enough to eat healthy all the time when you can eat anything you want!

I hear you LeAnne! It's so hard!

And to really mess with me I have to constantly be aware of what's going on with my body in order to know what to eat - ie, multi-grains, wheat pasta/breads, lots of fiber when I'm feeling ok; and white bread/pasta, little fiber when I'm having a flare up. Seriously...make up your mind!! LOL

It's live and learn (or live & deal with the consequences as I tend to do!) lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
