Hope your puppy is ok, Diana! And I hope you feel better, Natasha.

I have had a crazy week at work... and it's only Wednesday. I'm trying to get the energy to go to the gym, but it's a tough one tonight. Lucky we have a gym right in my condo, so I can't come up with too many excuses not to go.

Well I had a 2lb gain, so guess where that takes me...back to where I started. So frustrated. Ive been trying really hard, staying within my calorie range, really pushing myself with 5 days of workouts. Some days two workouts in one day. Im very overweight for my height..so I should be dropping pounds. But when your hypothyroid its nearly impossible. Unless you eat like 1200 calories and exercise high intensity 6 days a week.

I do feel like Im getting stronger and more fit, but it still is disappointing to not see the scale move.

While feeling sorry for myself I turned to food today. And feel like crap for it. When will I learn?

Awh Mel - I know it's so discouraging...but stick with it sweetie! Take comfort in knowing that you are most likely replacing the fat with muscle! And as shitty as it feels on the scale, know that you are doing amazing!! How do you feel? As long as you are feeling better about yourself & the clothes are feeling just a little bit bigger you are on the right track!

I went to the gym again today - I kept it light...50mins of cardio. I figure if I can do 1hr of cardio 4 days a week that's good...especially since I'm NOT a gym/exercise person!!

BUT, my wii fit age was 31 last night. bunny_4.gif

dude, seriously, half a pound is awesome! You might be losing it more slowly but chances are that means your doing it in a much healthier way. I hate to say this, but most people who drop a lot of weight each week consistently (say over 1 - 2lbs per week) are probably doing it in an unhealthy way (like that cayenne pepper/maple syrup cleanse or whatever). So yeah, congrats on the 0.5lbs because that is indeed awesome!

awww I'm sorry Mel hug2.gif Try not to get down on yourself, we all make mistakes (especially with food), but what matters is whether or not you picking yourself up and put it behind you or not. Either way, we're here for you! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
