So, last week, I was really surprised at how much I was down, because I had totally slacked on the gym and eaten a couple indulgent meals out -- Elephant Walk for my sister's belated Christmas present (Cambodian/French food in Boston) and the Melting Pot (Can anyone say cheese, lobster, filet mignon, and chocolate fondue in one yummy sitting?).

This week, I thought I did a lot better (healthy, home cooked meals for the most part, and grilled seafood without butter for V-day dinner out), and I was only down a little.

Anyone else feel a disconnect in their weight from weeks where they know that they weren't doing the "right" things and weeks where they did everything they should? Maybe my body spent all of this week just trying to fix the damage I did last week?
I completely know what you mean! It is so frustrating sometimes. I feel like I will be so careful of calories for five days straight and exercise lots and see a very slight decrease. Then I take a day off exercise and overdo the calories a bit and suddenly I am down a pound!!! I hope you are right and it is just the body playing catch up...! I completely gave up Pepsi (and I was a regular one or two a day) about 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for the results.

leanne, yes T does wii fit with me, and yes, there are a bunch of things he's better at than i am. and he is totally a competitive a-hole, lol! god forbid i ever have the number one slot on anything! if i ever beat him at anything he always wants to keep trying, but if he beats me, we're suddenly done with that game, lol.

Well, if you had one Pepsi a day, and each is worth 120 calories, then it'll take you a month to lose a pound from that alone. No worries, though, because it will be a big help in your overall plan.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
