Tash - I am with you on the cusp. I've been bouncing around the same pound and a half over the last week. My husband's had friends over all week and the alchohol has been quite a challenge. I blew it earlier in the week and had promised myself no alchohol for the rest of the week. What do you know, we went out last night and I had a glass of wine.

NO. WILL. POWER.

Wow!!! I'm soooo happy! Thanks guys, it's really helping to have the encouragement from everyone. And it didn't hurt seeing my name in big, bright print (thanks nsbride!!). My kids and FI wanted me to order them a pizza just a minute ago, so I was taking orders for all the different kinds of pizza... I ordered me a salad with grilled chicken and no salad dressing. I was feeling kinda bummed about not being able to enjoy the "stuffing of the face marathon", so I logged on here. You guys have no idea how much reading this thread really helped me tonight- now I am completely proud of my decision and looking forward to munching on my tasty salad!

Way to go Tyra! And instances like last night show how committed you are! Good for you!!!

Congrats on the losses girls :)

Ive been having a trying week. I splurged on one meal and it got out of control! Ill jump back on track and than fall off for a meal again. Im having a down week so that could be part of it...Im such an emotional eater. But Im hoping to pull out a much better rest of the week. Heading to Yoga class here in a bit, and than will fit in my run afterwards. The only obstacle I see is Im going out tonight to the bar. We are celebrating our friends (a couple) birthdays. I usually drink beer, so maybe Ill do light beer and water in between.

Stay strong everyone!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
