July 2010 Brides - How's the Planning Going?

Recommended Posts

Planning is done, done, done! Just waiting for the dress to be shipped in (not till June), bridesmaids to start picking their dresses (done by next week), order my BM bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres, finish putting together my OOT bags and favors.

You are so lucky! I feel like I've done so much yet still have a lot to do.

Just had my 2nd fitting tonight! My dress is really fitting great! I had cups sewn in and many inches taken off...it makes me super curvy and I love it!

Question for you ladies...is anyone doing anything special to lose those last 10 pounds? I'm working out with my trainer and we're just switching up our program for the next 4 weeks before we kick it back into the burn phase. I'm eating super clean but wonder if anyone has any tricks out there? :)

I'm also a July 2010..Just ordered my dress today, should be here in a month!! I also have started ordering items for my OOT bags but I can't decide what online vendor to go with for my pashminas...

Invitations have already been sent out. Bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dress is done.

I feel like I still have a ton to do....

  • 3 weeks later...

I got all my OOT items but now I need to get moving on finding all those templates I need. I haven't heard a work about my dress yet, but I pushed it when I just put the order in 3 weeks ago.. haha.. I'm hoping I'll get pics from gianinar this week!! At least I have a backup dress just in case!!

I haven't heard a word from my coordinator but I'm guessing he'll start all the planning next month....

I sent him two emails summarizing some things I would like and asking a ton of questions. If you have finalized anything I guess you can contact him. I still am not use to the laid back island vibe. I'm sure it will all be lovely though.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
