I absolutely agree with this. Guys are just...different, and you can't stress about this kind of stuff. Just remember YOU are marrying HIM. Also, it's usually the bachelors friend's that drag the bachelor out to the strip clubs (get a few drinks down and friends will drag them there even if they don't want to). It's more so entertainment for the friends rather than the bachelor. Just my two cents!

It's always interesting seeing other peoples perspectives on things, and this is one of them. FI and I are very open about things and this is the one thing that does not bother either of us. In fact, he and I enjoy going to strip clubs together. At the end of the day, I know who he is coming home with and I am very secure with myself to not worry about things like this. I consider FI and Myself to be attractive and I cannot get mad if someone hits on him and goes the other way. Now, like some of the others have said, if he has had a reputation in the past to make you feel otherwise, then this is something that needs to be worked on asap!

I might sound way jealous or like the bitchy FI/wife but I absolutely refuse to let my FI have a lap dance or stripers or anything like that. I've made this clear to him and his friends and he agrees that we should be the only ones in our "sexual space" like you put it. I'm sorry but this would have pissed me off to no end...esp since he DID NOT TELL YOU before hand. I understand that there are "traditions" but some should not be followed, this would not fly with me. He had one lap dance too many, imo and you SHOULD tell him that another one would not fly!!! It bothers you and that's all that matters!

So I just went back and read some responses and I should have included in my post that FI and I have been to clubs together before and that was fine. It's the fact that you weren't there that would bother me the most. And when we've been, there have been no lap dances for him, sorry I don't budge on that wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
