You got legally married? Are you changing your name?

I paid for a legal marriage. I certainly hope it was. I am changing my name. Does that matter?

Ok so if your asking how you go about changing your name. I'd say the first step is call you local SofS office to find out what you need. For example I needed the wedding certifiacte to be apposiled & translated by an offical office.

I'm not sure how to file the paperwork. Do I just go to my city hall, or are we going to have to fill more out?

If you had a legal wedding in Mexico then call your secretary of state office tell them you just got married out of the country and wanted to know what was required to do your name change. You shouldn't have to go to city hall..

OK, first off, your dress looks amazing! Very pretty!
Second... I agree with Tammy. Call the secretary of state and see what you need. Every state handles it differently... and in Tammy's case, every worker for the state handles it differently!
