lol - not sure about "dying to plan" - but i would LOVE to help! just let me know if you need me to do anything. like i'd obviously need some list of what to order, and who it goes to, and when you need them (just in case anyone needs rush delivery or something), etc. if you all want to put your orders in this thread, and PM me an address i will put it into a spreadsheet.

i await instructions.

I am ordering for sure, I just want to know what you girls think.

I want 25, and my colours are Pink and Chocolate Brown. So, I want half Classic Pink (I think it was called, I will have to look again) and then half another colour. Do I go Brown, will enough people wear it, or do I go Ivory (also an accent colour). I am doing pink and brown flip flops for the girls (maybe ivory or white as well). Should I do all 3? I need advice here.

I'll email the guy about drop shipping to multiple addresses.

It will cost more though in shipping charges. The $10 shipping is for orders over $100, but even though the group order would be well over that, he would probably charge $15 for shipping them as individual orders to cover his labor overhead for getting them out.

Depending on size of boxes, to/from locations, and weight of the package, I'm guessing if one person received them and then re-shipped them, it would be cheaper for the shipping charges. I did a sample shipping rate on DHL from Texas to Iowa for a 5lb box measuring 2'x1'x6" and it came out to like $8 for ground shipping.

Ok, he said if we did one large order and then gave him a spreadsheet with shipping info and the specific items going to each address, that he could do it but it would be $12 for each ship to address. They ship them in large bubble-wrap envelopes.

He also said that in general, they only accept orders that are less than $100 once for a person. Anything that ships with less than $100 will have a $20 shipping charge.

Based on this, I know the shipping would be cheaper to have one person receive and re-mail them.

You don't think shipping 25 pashs across the US would be more than $12?

Maybe I read that wrong. We would split the original $10 (less than a dollar each) and then pay for shipping to us from the person who receives, but I would think that would be the same as or more than $12, no?

Plus the cost of repackaging costs.

i wouldn't be surprised if it was $12 or more, like you said, once you throw in teh packaging i'd have to buy (or whoever ships). again - totally willing to do this for you - but not sure if it would be saving too much $$. just let me know!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
