I love how snow looks and would love it if it dissappeared the next day. In my part of Queens there are no driveways, no garages. You have to dig your car out and hope for a spot when you get back because you know someone who didnt dig their car out as good as you took your spot and now you have to redig a spot to get your car back in....with 15" it is a nightmare to move your car without a garage or driveway!

So excited for the storm. I made gingerbread and sugar cookie dough tonight - going to my mom's tomorrow to make and decorate christmas cookies with my niece. The MTA has halted all construction on the subways - I just hope the storm isn't too thick and they're still running.

A lady from Baltimore called into the news this morning saying that she was on an Air Jamaica plane and had been since 7am...they were stuck on the tarmac for over 5hrs with no food and nothing to drink...finally they got them back to bwi where they had to go home b/c the flight was canceled. I feel so bad for any brides that were on that flight!

FI & I just drove from NYC to Chicago on Thursday & fortunately we left before all the storms hit. Now that I'm in Chicago for the holidays I say bring it!! It's been snowing nonstop & is supposed to all week! I love it!

I do feel really bad for all those that have to deal w/ canceled flights & digging out their cars though! I've definitely been there before!

Hope everyone has a great holiday!! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
