Wow. That was incredibly mean and if it wasn't meant then it would not have been done anonymously. I am so sorry. I agree with everyone else so far though....someone is very jealous of you and your FI's happiness. Try and let it go for what it is...garbage.

That being said, I would tell my FI because whether it was one of his friends or mine, it is nice to have the heads up that the person is maybe not that trustworthy. Password protect your site - if it isn't already and get ahold of the administrators. Find out who the culprit is - you don't have to confront him/her....just file it away in the vault so you know. Then delete that post and try to move one.

Enjoy your wedding and all the planning. Your happiness is what is important and it sounds like the rest of the posts are very loving and supportive. Remember that and try not to let this one bring you down.

Ouch, that is really brutal. I'd be pissed and I'd want to know who wrote that for sure. If your site is weddingwindow, you can see the IP address on the visitor log.

Try not to let it bother you or put a cloud over the nice happy warm comments people have left. Those are the people that matter.

Thanks for all the loving words ladies. I've already deleted the comment, and now I don't know if I'll be able to get admins to track down the IP since I've already deleted it. I have no idea who it could have been. I was racking my brain trying to think who would even have our wedding website unless they got a STD and surely none of those people (people we love and invited to the wedding) would write something like that! Then my MOH reminded me that my FI has a facebook page where he approves friend requests for anyone who hits him up (aka, he has tons of friends on facebook who he doesn't even know) and our wedding website link is posted on his page. She thinks that probably one of FI ex girlfriends or friend of the ex girlfriend posted it. How rude though, still!

Anyone who truly knows us knows that I work hard at my job and my FI and I have the SAME amount of money so for someone to say that I'm gonna take him for all he's worth is ridiculous and inaccurate!

I'm scared to tell FI still! I don't want him straining his brain if it was one of his jealous friends or not and wondering which person in his life doesn't approve of our marriage. What a nightmare.

I'm pretty much over it, and have deleted the message, but BOY WOULD I LIKE TO KNOW WHO WROTE IT.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
