Me as well, what date? Im on March 26th, 2011.  How's the planning going? Did you decide to go with a package?  We are right in the middle of booking an outside photographer. I found some pics from another bride and I was not impressed.  Its really ending up to be expensive with having to pay for a room night for them. The Palace is trying to tell us its a 3 night min but our photographer tells us brides book him all the time for 1 night. Ah Mexico, everything seems to be such a hassle!

unfortunately different messages aren't uncommon with Palace..but most brides seem to get what's fair when they negotiate for what they know others have gotten before

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to let you all know of a very RELIABLE and INCREDIBLE vendor I am going with to help my wedding guests get to my Moon Palace wedding!! She has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in the two short days I have worked with her. She is super prompt with her emails and phone calls and have given the best deals I have been able to find!!

She was willing to match my VIP Member price for my guests (but had her own very cheap prices - the difference was literally only $74), qualify them for the Vacation Dollars promotion (booking up until December 31st, not Nov 30th like Palace requires), but ALSO allow any children guests under 12 years old to come for free!!! No additional fees, no contracts!! She has also voiced her ability to coordinate with my Moon Palace wedding coordinator so that my rooms are sure to count towards my group incentives!

I feel so blessed to have found this place and I wanted to spread the good news around to all of our wonderful Palace Brides!! She is able to help with reservations from all over the country- even if you do not live in New Jersey!!

Her contact information is below, you are welcome to let her know Cynthia Guzman sent you!

HELLO ALL!!

My fiance and I are getting married at Moon on Oct 2.  WOOHOO!  I have gotten an outside photographer to do the day and then a cenote TTD the next day.  We went with Blue Carbie.  Their portfoloio looked fabulous and was shocked at the prices!

For now, we are getting the Amethyst package.  Has anyone else ordered a package or is everyone doing the complimentary and adding on?  It seems that is what is happening most of the time.  But, between the horse drawn carriage that he wants and the fireworks that I want, it seems more economical.  But, he also wants to do the sand ceremony that is not covered.

So, if anyone is getting married that same weekend, maybe we can share some expenses!

Good luck with planning!

I'm getting married on Oct 8th!! My FI and I will fly in on Oct 4th. I went with the complimentary package and added on what I wanted. Even with all of the add ons, it was cheaper to go with the complimentary package. It's a total of $1400 in savings!! Most brides did the same. It definitely makes more sense.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
