Kash, congratulations on your beautiful wedding and best wishes for a wonderful life together!

You two look like love, really. I think it was Christa who said you were all googly eyes for each other~~true!

The gal that did the video said there was some kind of surprise at your wedding. Am I right? If so, would you like to share?

My daughter Maggie was in love with your gown. She had seen it at the Lheurille (sp) shop in Edina, MN. I will send her the linc to this thread so she can see how lovely it was on you.

I know it was probably posted somewhere but I want to know what the surprise was! Or maybe I read it somewhere and I forgot already. I love the pics, they are so cute. You and DH look fabulously in love. And here I go with the dress: it was stunning and looked amazing on you! I am so glad you got it b/c it is the best dress ever!!!!! Okay after seeing your pics, I really really want a cupcake. And I also loved your mom's sari. I really really want a sari. i think they are so pretty. And I loved that her's was pink!

Thanks you guys! I just love looking at the pictures over and over again.

The surprise was a 5 minute fireworks show that was actually put on for another event (John Cryer's wedding) which went off right over our heads and was fantastically beautiful.

The cupcakes were tasty but I bit dry by the time we got around the eating them. In retrospect it might have just been because it was really hot. Actually talking about them is makiong me wish I had one to eat right now... sadly people didn't eat them (too full and too drunk) so I was a tiny bit bummed about it.

My mom's saree was cute too - only thing was later on during the reception she was dancing so hard she tore the string in the petticoat (the long skirt under the saree that basically holds everything up)! Hee hee hee... I guess she was having fun dancing!

I bought it at Mon Amie brdial salon in Orange County - the same place I bought my dress. Sorry - i know that's not very helpful. But it seems like most bridal salons carry this veil (or something very similar). It's an ivory mantilla with alencon lace edging.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
