Hey Bosi!

I just wanted to touch base - although the resort said sold out I was able to get you a room twice when you asked me too and had it held for a week both times pulling special favors - but you never responded to my Pm's nor emailed me directly. Not sure if you still needed it or if I can pull it off again but please email me directly so I know what is up!

thanks!

Hi there,

I am getting married at the Royal Caribbean w/Private Island resort on May 22, 2010... I have 10-12 people (us included) going. I wanted to find out from previous Sandals wedding experience if you HAVE to pay the extra costs for additional ppl at your "cake cutting/reception" or if you can just order champagne from the bar ahead of time and have one of your bridesmades bring it to the private area where you cut your cake. Something about paying extra to have drinks and some finger food doesnt seem right to me being that we are paying for our guests to come to our "all inclusive" wedding. I dont want to cheap out but it isnt cheap when you are paying for immediate family to attend your wedding for 4 nights..... Any suggestions on how to have a sit down dinner / reception at a restaurant or having champagne at the cake cutting, etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andrea,

We booked the DJ at our wedding and to me it was worth the $600 due to the size of our group. We had a blast!! The DJ kept saying that this was going to be the last song and ended up playing four or five more songs after that. They cleared a area at the front of the ballroom for dancing. It was enough space for everyone to move! Our wedding coordinator introduced us as husband and wife.

Hope this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
