Ocean Blue & Sand-Punta Cana

Recommended Posts

This can be overwhelming, I know how you feel. :-)

I have already been playing around with the boarding pass invites, I love working on them actually! LOL

OOT Bags -  definitely doing them but I have no idea how many people are going so I don't want to buy a ton of stuff I don't need! Debating on when to start them.

And received my confirmation yesterday!! Adding my name right after this.

I feel like I've been wedding slacking lately.....my brain just needed a break...lol!

I figure since we have the date, hotel, judge, travel, and photographer booked - there isn't a ton more that I can do right now until our 90 days pass with the travel agent and I see how many people are coming! Then it will be time to start passport invites, OOT bags, etc.

Had I chosen a resort with the most amazing gazebo, and the price was over 2000.00 pp......I don't think I'd have half of the guests I have attending Ocean Blue :)

Did you consider a wedding on the beach? They don't have a "gazebo" exactly, but they do have a "huppah" (spelling?!) or whatever it is called....

Our ceremony is at 4pm, and will be on the beach :) I'm a little concerned about privacy, but I'll get over it...lol! Just as long as the photog manages to get plenty of pictures without onlookers in speedos/bikinis....haha

Me too but I'll be on the beach with my friends and family and my ceremony is later, at 6 pm. So I'm hoping there will be less people there. I think you will still have a great wedding. I bet you will be having such a great time with everyone it won't even bother you. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
