Hello, 

 

I am getting married at Ocean Blue and Sand, June 2012. I am looking for a good photographer. The wedding planner sent me a photography package. However, I am having a hard just going along with the package if I have no idea how good they are. So, if anyone can give a review or any addition photographers in the area that would be great. Also, I want to make the most out of having a good DJ. So, again any info please sure.. I am getting nervous..

MsClarke - You're now happily married! Can't wait to hear all about your fabulous day at Ocean Blue!

I'm waiting on pricing from additional gateways for Ocean Blue in April 2013 - and hope I get it soon so I can make my final decision and book :) I just sent out my save the "approximate" date postcards (vistaprint) Monday of this week!

Where are all of the Ocean Blue Ladies?! I've finally got all of my pricing for different gateways from my TA. Just waiting now on the fine print details so we can put deposits down and book our wedding date with the hotel! Super excited!4

 

Are there any brides who are booking here or considering it for 2013?

I am having a Jan 2013 wedding and I'm very interested in having it at Oceans.  I have emailed them for a package and extras price list but still have not heard back from them.  If anyone already has a list and is able to email me a copy it would be greatly appreciated (shelleyfarrell28@hotmail.com).  I still have 3 resorts I am trying to choose from (dreams, melia and oceans) so trying to figure out some costs as it seems to vary dramatically from resort to resort.  Also if anyone has pictures of the locations you can have a private reception at that would be a huge help.  I have previously been to this resort but only seen a reception on the beach.

any help you can give would be great.

Thank you very much Dominican Ally, your email was beyond helpful it actually helped finally choose a resort. Very excited about having an Oceans wedding!  Now that we decided on the resort we can get the ball rolling.  Again thank you the info and for responding so quickly, I really do appreciate it.

No problem Shelley! I got your email, and will respond as soon as I have a bit to sit down :) Glad that it helped you make your choice! I am putting my travel deposit down this week, and once I have that confirmed I'm putting the deposit down with the hotel for our April date! So excited!
