Flowers in Todos Santos

Recommended Posts

We went to Todos Santos last Sept. I never saw any florists, and depending on the time youre going you might want to get real touch flowers. It was so hot when we were there and if you don't have a proper place to store them they might not make it to the wedding.

We maded it back and I did my best to find flowers... with no real luck. There isn't a florist in town. There was a fake flower place on the same street as the bus station, but no real flowers. I knew I should have written it down, but I swore I'd remember it... but I think this place CallaCo, the Calla Specialists - growers, shippers and hybridizers of specialty cut callas for the wholesale market has a wholesale place where you can pick up flowers in Pescadero. I was content with the fake flowers we had and didn't want to make people run all over. So I didn't actually get any flowers.

We were also told there was a place (a lady) just out of town towards La Paz that has sunflowers that she sells... again, we just ran out of time and I didn't check either out. So hopefully my lack of knowledge is helpful to let people know to plan to bring your own, get them in Cabo or not be picky with what you can get. :-)

Hi Girls ...

so there IS a florist in Todos Santos. it is where the fake flowers that someone already mentioned. You would need to go in there in advance like 2-3 days and request flowers ... they will order them. Personally I would do the calla lilies they are GORGEOUS!! They are in Pescadero only 15 min. from Todos Santos.

For hair you might want to contact Sarah Rutowski. She does incredible highlights ( i have long hair and it was only arround $50 dls!!!) her cell in mexico is 044 612 118 3492 if you are calling from the states it is 01152 1 612 118 3492. she has email but I do not know it.

I ended up having flowers delivered from Cabo San Lucas. The delivery fee was $50 and I thought this was very reasonable since they had to return to Todos Santos the next day to pick up the vases. I had a bit of an issue with the bridal bouquet but it all worked out in the end. In retrospect, I likely didn't need as many flowers as I had because my ceremony was very small but they made for some nice pictures. I had calla lillies and they were beautiful.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
