Ana the picture of the church you saw on my webpage is not in the Riviera Area, it is 10 hrs far from it, there are 2 churches in the area that I specially like, one in Playa del Carmen on the 5th ave. and the other is in Cancun in the main street in the hotel Zone (this is a big one).

Best regards!

Hello - thanks for getting back to us! What is the name of the big church you're referring to in Cancun? Would you happen to have any photos of it or have you photographed any weddings/etc there?

Thanks!!

I clicked on the link you have on here and saw the beautiful church in your pictures. Can you tell me the name and where it is? There are 2 pictures (one of the outside and one of the inside where you see the Lady of Guadalupe in a frame and the floors look like marble).

Thanks!!
Ana
Ana, those pictures I took are not in the Riviera Maya, as I shoot around Mexico some are from Villahermosa, San Luis Potosi, Mexico City and Merida, I do not know a chirch like those in the Riviera as the one you so are from very old cities and of course the churches are old as well.

I know serveral of the resorts have chapels available so that you can be married in there. We're getting married at the Valentin Imperial Maya, and I know that their has been Catholic weddings there before. If this isn't an option for you than I would look into some of the local Catholic churches. If you go to theknot.com they have a lot of information that will help you find a Catholic church in RM. Hope that helps!

Hi there - where do you search for this in the knot? Do you know if they have pictures as well? We're going on a site visit at the end of this month and wanted to get an idea of which churches we should be going to look at as well.

Thanks for all of your help!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
