Hi everyone. My name is Crystle and we are looking to get married at the end of July in Mexico. I just started looking into places and I am so confused on where to have the wedding. We are thinking we will most likely have it at Puerto Vallarta (but still looking at riviera mayan, cabo san lucas, or cancun as options). Any advice will be deeply appreciated. Really excited to get things started :-)

Congratulations!

I'm also looking into a Mexican wedding destination (althoug later in the year - Nov probably) so I know the feeling you have right now. It's overwhelming how many places/resorts there are.

I started by speaking to friends & family to get their travel likes & dislikes but I mostly rely on my own experience and my travel agent's advice on beach, food and service quality, as well as the weather at your given time of the year.

 

July for example is VERY hot so you'll probably want a more breezy location with a resort that offers A/C in all areas (not just in the rooms but in the dining areas as well) and perhaps a swim-up bar since the pool will surely be a popular gathering spot. Sorry I can't tell you which region would be best mid-summer weather-wise but that's where I'd start narrowing it down.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
