My friend's daughter turned 1 the day that they arrived at my destination (Aruba). I brought a birthday gift for her, separate from her OOT bag or reception bag. They were Crocs in the smallest size available (which is said to fit ages 6 months to 18 months): http://www.crocs.com/crocs-kids-crocs-littles/11441,default,pd.html?cid=730&cgid=girls-footwear . She refused to wear any other shoes while she was in Aruba!

While $20 is not bad for a birthday present, I can see how it could add up when multiplied by a large number of children's OOT bags. But if you don't have many kids attending, kiddie Crocs are something very useful! It seems like every kid practically lives in them in the summertime.

That is actually an awesome idea!! Thanks for your input!! I never would of thought of a water shoe and actually they would be great for the ocean and running around the pools and such!! I think I will hunt and see how inexpensive I can find them for now that it is the end of summer I bet I can find some on clearance!!! Thanks Again!!

I am doing the very popular pail and shovel idea, a mini version of the "grown up" tote bags I am sewing for the girls, a larger water gun for the boys, other small $1 Store finds like Go Fish and Shark Bites gummy snacks and Goldfish crackers (to keep with the beach theme).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
