I just found a set of three plastic sand tools (shovel, rake and hoe I think...) at dollarama for $1!  They are a good size, but are packaged fairly flat so I can take them in my luggage without taking up a major amount of space!  I also got a set of three splash for $1 and am still on the hunt for a cheap beach barbie (All the kids coming to our wedding are girls...) that they can play with in the room or in the pool.

I thought putting some little travel games might be a good idea incase there are any bad weather days, or for during the evening when the kids will be in the room - thinking maybe memory card game or go fish but not sure where to find those?  Maybe Walmart?  Any suggestions?

Wow! You girls put me to shame!

The kids at my wedding were between 1 and 6 years old.

For the OOT bags, I put a set of sand toys (http://www.orientaltrading.com/pc-sand-set-a2-12_3984-12-1.fltr?Ntt=beach+toy) and a package of gummies for the kids in the same bag as the parents.

I also made a reception bag for the kids with things to do that would keep them stationary (so no balls or things that would engourage them to ran around like maniacs). Here's everything that I used for these:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
