Uh, Yah long story but ultimatly switched back to what I origanally wanted all along. I just couldnt get Cabo out of my head while I was trying to plan for the Riviera.

I'm sorry, that is my problem also our father passed away last year and I am just not willing to have a traditional wedding I want to be as far away from that as possible. I was originally thinking my sisters but I dont know how the 3 of us would even fit down the aisle, It might look to funny when we have to turn sideways to actually get down the aisle part of it lol.
If you really don't want to walk alone I think your sisters is a nice idea, I think you will totally fit down the isle, I've seen your pic LOL. Lots of people walk with both parents, and it looks nice. Another idea is why don't you get your fi to walk half way up the isle to meet you as you are coming down, it could be really romantic.

I want to do something, I have a necklace of his I want to incorporate into my bouquet. I may also have a poem or something on the program, but I don't want to make everyone too sad. It's still so recent that I'm afraid of upsetting others (or myself!) on my wedding day.

I voted with the majority for walking down alone over walking down together. I am going to be walking down with my parents, with FI at the gazebo waiting BUT we are going to see each other before the ceremony for pictures and ketubah signing (its a jewish "wedding contract" that you have to sign before the vows)...

At first, I was kind of bumbed out because I personally LOVED the idea of seeing FI for the first time at the alter. Now that I am used to the idea though, I think it will also be special to have a private moment before all the craziness begins.

Even if you decide to see each other ahead of time, I still think it's going to be really special for him to see you walking towards him down the aisle.

Hey, thats a great idea I could walk the long part towards the aisle alone and than have Ryan meet me at the actual aisle. HMMMMM I think you may have fixed my problem. I'll take a look at the actual walk way and aisle on our site visit and see if that would work.

Thanks ladies, youve been very helpful :)smile72.gif

No I didnt, I tried taking a picture but it just did not look nice at all. Its pretty simple platinum basnd with 1.2 carrot brilliant center stone and 40 itty bitty diamonds sourounding it. Kind of antiquey. The rest of my planning is great. All I really have left to do is pick the bouquet and than start gathering stuff for OOT bags, decorations, and center pieces etc etc.

Photographer, DJ, Hair & Makeup, and Location are all booked. And we are going to stick to the buffet dinner so I really dont even need to worry about food either, I'm just going to have Marianna decide what she thinks is best. I love this no stress DW stuff. Shoot I suppose I still need a dress though. I bet I will start getting stressed when I try to become a mini Martha Stewart, I'm just not very talanted when it comes to that stuff.

When I drop 5 pounds which reminds me I need to get my ass to the gym lol. No seriously probably right after our Site visit in September. Thats still 8 months out from our wedding date so I should have enough time right? I'm looking for a kind of simple bohemian flowy strapless dress nothing to to fancy so I hope it wont be hard to find.

I ordered a couple of babydoll camis from VS yesturday for my bodouir session with Juan, I'm really excited but completely nervous.

OMG your doing a "B session" with Juanhuh.gifhuh.gifhuh.gif OMG are you his first?

When I ordered my dress they told me it would take 6 months to come in, it ended up taking 4, so you "should" be ok. But I say it's never too early to look, just wait to order..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
