Jetsbride- I was wondering how you contacted Calypso Photography? I am getting married at the RMP May 22, 2010. I can not find out how to contact them! Do you have any suggestions? Also by any chance do you have a price list for them??

clbrown - I was never able to contact Calypso Photography on my own. Everything went through the RPRM wedding co-ordinator Ael. This is the information the is in the FAQ package regarding photos. We got Package 8 and we are very happy with the photos.

 

NOTE: If you have booked the Royal or Caprice Wedding Package, you have a few pictures included. These will be taken only during the ceremony and in the end, your photographer will carefully select the best shots to be handed to you. Only if you purchase any of the following extras, will you have the option to select the pictures you like best.

 

Our photo shop has carefully designed the following packages for your wedding. Please keep in mind that the prices are subject to change without further notice:

 

All pictures are digitally taken with high resolution (12 Mega Pixels).

The size of the printed pictures is 6 x 8 inches (15 x 21 cm) in color or in B&W and includes a basic album.

The minimum quantity of pictures in a package is 24 shots.

1 24 printed pictures$ 280.00 us

2 24 pictures with negatives in a CD$ 400.00 us

 

3 36 printed pictures$ 360.00 us

4 36 pictures with negatives in a CD$ 500.00 us

 

5 50 printed pictures$ 400.00 us

7 CD with 80 JPG files (no prints)$ 700.00 us

 

8 DVD slideshow with 120 photos in JPG

Packages number 8 and 9 include the photographer one hour before, during and after the ceremony + one hour during dinner.

Additional photo session an hour before or after the ceremony $ 100.00 usd

48 hr delivery or 5-7 days shipping address (UPS or FEDex) with no charge.

Photo Packages will be delivered to the photo shop located in the Mexican Street at the RIU Yucatan.

VIDEO SERVICE

 

Package # 1

 

1 hour of continuous recording in mini DV. With wireless microphones during ceremony

Recording begins 15 minutes before the ceremony.

Ceremony and Romantic scenes at the end of the recording.

Delivery (1) DVD of 15 minutes published in NTSC ó the Pal with music and menus

Price $ 450.00 us

 

Package # 2

 

2 hours of continuous recording in mini DV, with wireless microphones during ceremony

Recording begins in the bride's room while she gets ready for the ceremony.

Ceremony and Romantic scenes at the end of the recording

Delivery (2) DVD of 25 minutes published in NTSC ó the Pal with music and menus.

Price $ 750.00 us

 

Package # 3

 

4 hours of recording in mini DV, with wireless microphones during ceremony

Recording begins in the bride's room while she gets ready for the ceremony.

Ceremony and Romantic scenes

During reception: dinner time, speeches, cake cutting, etc, at the end of the recording

Delivery (3) DVD of 45 minutes published in NTSC ó the Pal with music and menus.

Price $ 950.00 us

 

Professional system recording HDV Sony (3 ccd 1/3) published in final cut Pro End Pro Mac Platform.

If you want to play back Hi-Definition quality images recorded with 1080i format (1080/60i) based on HDV Standard, your TV should be compatible with HD (1080/60i) input.

HI!! I am trying to figure out what to do for our wedding!! Did you have a private dinner with the DJ? If you don't mind how much did it cost to have the DJ. Also if you don't have enough people, will have 30-40 people can you have the semi private with the DJ? If you still have the options that they sent you would you mind emailing it to me? What are your thoughts on the dj/no dj option SOrry so many questions!

Great review and great pics! Congrats on the wedding. I have also heard horror stories about air transat. I am hoping my TA does not come back with the quote for them. I am pretty certain after hearing your story as well....I will not be using them cheers!
