Hello Aventura Spa / Cove brides!

 

My name is Cristi and I will be getting married at the Aventura Cove resort on Sat. June 26, 2010. I just wanted to start a new thread since I havent seen one out there for 2010 brides. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

 

My question is that is there anyone out there that has choosen the Sapphire package? I'm just curious about the colors since I'm looking to do blue and hot pink (see link for example).

Sorry about the late post but I have been so busy with school, holiday and life. I am glad Cristi started this post:)

There are a coulp of threads for ASP (not so sure about Cove) that I get overwhelmed trying to find which thread I last posted on. I am getting married Saturday June 26, 2010 at 6:00pm. I have reserved the gazebo on the Cove side since I have family members with kids attending the wedding. I am planning on changing my colors to either Amber collection or the emerald green. I am not sure which one will stand out for a evening wedding and photos. What do you guys think? I also read on another thread about getting real touch flowers for my bridesmaides and groomsmen (which is a fantastic idea) but not sure where to order them from. Do you guys have any idea?

Hi Cristi,

Are you guys taking a photographer? If so who? My FI and I were interested in getting an outsider photographer but we found it to be too expensive.

Who is your WC? We have Yasmin and she has been responding to my emails so I am not frecking out yet:)

Hello E&M! We are getting married on the same day at 3pm. At this time we are just using the resort for pictures since it's apart of the package that I selected (Sapphire). I really like the Amber package and think it would be great for an evening summer wedding.

I am getting married in hmm 3 weeks I think.. have you been to the resort? I am leaving the 17th of Feb. I have the diamond package.. but was thinking of switching it to the amethyst I think it is..

Yay! I'm glad you started a new Aventura thread on here! It's about time.

 

How is your planning going? Our booking deadline is Monday, Feb. 1 and we finally have the minimum 12 rooms booked! People definitely like to wait until the last minute.

 

At what point are you supposed to contact your wedding coordinator and book your reception/ceremony sites, etc?

Also, I attempted to get Sascha Gluck for outside photography and unfortunately he was already booked on my wedding date. He referred me to his friend, Pierre Violle, but he was also taken on that day. Any other suggestions ladies?
