My invitations are ready to go out. I'm just waiting for the park passes for our guests to arrive so that I can include them with the invitations. Hopefully, the passes will come tomorrow or Monday, so by Wednesday the invites should all be out.

I still need to order a cake. We've got to buy my fiance's mess dress too, but we're waiting on a medal to go through so we can have it added to the medal rack for his uniform.

I think other than that, everything is pretty much ready to go?

Hi mrs.timpone. I'm not that far along yet so I'm not sure about the centerpiece. I've looked at some pictures online with my colors (emerald & lemonade) but I haven't decided. The lemon lime centerpieces look interesting... just not sure. What are you thinking of doing?

yay date twins!!! :) OMG less than 3 months now!!!!!!!!! freaking out at this point.

got a call from Airtran yesterday....they are no longer doing international flights on tues and weds so our flight is cancelled!!! WTF?!? so we're getting a refund, but i've been looking at flights and they are more expensive now, over it!!!

if you ladies get ANY ideas for centerpieces please share...i have no clue, plus like mrs.timpone said, i don't want to take any more stuff down there! i might just end up paying for flower ones, idk!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
