Ummmm buddy look at the big picture here.... I left the house before you and am home AFTER you, which makes my work day longer..... idiot.
Yeah I made him do his own after he washed MY laundry in hot water! He hasnt touched it since!

hahaha boy these guys do have some funny habits! I've been cracking up for 10 minutes reading this whole thread! The thing my FI does the most (besides the obvious of leaving his clothes around, grr) that bothers me is PLAY VIDEO GAMES. He is forever on xbox, ps3, the computer.. anything he can get his hands on! So that leaves me and the poor dog neglected. He doesnt hear half the stuff I say cuz hes so into his games. He does cook dinner everynight though which is a HUGE plus so I should really get used to his horrible gaming habit sad.gif and as of late, he starting snoring! Doesnt help when the dog snores too and we all sleep in the same bed. I need to learn to fall asleep before both of them!

.
Mine does the same thing! It is especially bad when I've been out of town for work and come home to find the floor covered in clothes.

it really bothers me that sometimes FI thinks that things for the wedding just magically get done...when i've been at work and i come home and work on stuff or i'm on the computer getting ideas from you ladies and other sources, then i say i'm tired or wish he'd help sometimes he's like "why are you so tired" or "we don't have to do that yet, we still have 6 months left".

yeah if i left it up to him, nothing would get done!!

OMG! Same here!!!!! He helped me fix a bug in the printer to print the envelopes....after I spent HOURS at papersource, cut the liners, glued, designed the things...and he's like "I love that we are a great team! Teamwork!" It was sweet...but seriouslyhuh.gif?? haaa... not exactly 50/50.

Please dear hubs, dont put your dirty dishes on the counter above the dishwasher, when the dishwasher IS EMPTY!

Oh and OPEN YOUR MAIL! Dont leave un-opened mail on the kitchen table for eons. Just deal with it!

Other than that my DH is perfect love.gif

These are soooo funny! I'm cracking up reading them to my FI.

He can't seem to put dishes in the dishwasher....even the sink. I hate pots and pans left on the stove.

He chews so loud! Even something like a marshmallow I'm sure would sound crunchy if he ate it.

Other than that, we make a good team!

I asked him what I did, he said nothing, but didn't want to start a fight! Then he came up with one, I will come home with a shopping bag with a few different things and tend to never unpack it....hehe whoops.

This thread is great. I have to agree with many of you. I have a terrific FI who helps around the house, cooks and does laundry. My big peeve is that he thinks laundry is done when the dryer is finished. He NEVER folds/puts away anything. Last weekend I spent all day Sat re-drying (to get out the wrinkles), folding and putting away clothes. He also doesn't understand that bras and underwear are washed separately on the delicate cycle and NOT dried. My undies end up in knots and ruined!!

But he is GREAT and other than that I wouldn't change much. He has been really helpful with all the wedding planning. I have to watch what he wants to put in the OOT bags, he keeps adding to the list, he is very generous (which is GREAT)!

OMG! my FI is the same about the laundry... when he does it. I'm pickier about what goes in the washer and dryer together. He just hangs all his shirts and jeans but doesn't bother to think about mine! Also, he will keep "doing laundry" but just pile the clothes out of the drier into the couch!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
