Looking for resort in mexico to have my wedding?

Hi and welcome. We're getting married at Dreams Cancun. It's located on the upper tip of Cancun and has amazing beaches and a gorgeous gazebo. It's also AI and has a very intimate feel. The only thing is that you have to be willing to plan out the wedding once you're there with the WC b/c they don't answer emails promptly. So if you're the type of bride who wants to plan things out in advance (like I was) it might not work out. I finally just relaxed and decided that based on all of the great reviews on this site, my wedding will turn out amazing. Good luck!

Congrats, we are having our wedding @ the Dreams Puerto Vallarta. I think you should definately research the hotels/venues online, pick your top three, email them & find out which one fits you best. I had an entire hotel in mind when I originally started & changed my mind once I spoke to the WC @ Dreams. She made me feel the most comfortable & confident. I found that other hotels either took really long to respond or didn't respond at all! Hope this helps!

there's so many great places in mexico to get married. check prices to see what you feel comfortable for you & your guests. also check the costs for the wedding packages. some resorts offer free ones, but they may be higher in costs per person for the week. do you want to get married right on the beach, do you want something more private? do you know how many people might attend? read the wedding reviews on here, there's lots of valuable info.

we're getting married at the gran bahia principe - riviera maya. we're been there 2x before so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hi!

I am getting married at Dreams in Tulum in May 2010. The reason we chose this resort was the ease of getting responses from the resort and price information. However, I have read some bad reviews as well =(

I'm thinking that wherever you chose, as long as there isn't a hurricane on it's way, the wedding will be what you make of it. I'm sure there are always bumps along the way. Well at least that's what I am hoping for in my case!! =) ...and congrats on your engagement!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
