diamonds or no diamonds..

Recommended Posts

I say try them on just to be sure to which style you like best.

My sister has really tiny hands and had to get a jeweler to special make her band. He wouldn't put anymore than 3 diamonds in her wedding band due to the size of the ring in order to insure the quality. So she chose to go with a solid band. Her e ring is a round diamond on a solid band and is 1.25 and really stands out by only having the solid band, and looks huge on her finger.

I am having a similar problem. I like two bands, the solid band and a band to match my ring... I have a 1.4 emerald cut with baggettes on the sides. The diamond wedding ring has baggettes and just looks busy to me. I really love my ring and do t want to take away from the beauty... Plus I am trying to sell the groomie on a solid Tiffany & Co band... wink.gif I hope it works :)

I say go with what you want.. it's what your going to have to wear for the rest of your life unless of course you upgrade or change your mind later on down the road.. but if you feel most comfortable with the plain band then go with what your gut is telling you.. although if it was me - I'd be picking the diamonds haha :)

I agree with the ladies saying that you should go and try on both and go with which one you honestly LIKE better. It's not about what the hubby wants....if yours is anything like mine, HE will be doing what HE wants, so YOU should be doing what YOU want! LOL. (of course not every guy is as stubborn as mine!) Mine is a round diamond set in the legacy tiffany setting, so there are diamonds all around the band as well (we had it custom made) so I will likely be going for a diamond band as well. Good luck, Im sure whatever you pick will be beautiful!

Design Your Own Ring!

There are numerous online jewellery stores that allow you to design your own ring. However, if you opt for customization, you need to be creative. If you have any design in your mind, put it on paper and hand it over to the jeweller and he will take care of the rest. If you don't have any design in your mind, then you can check out online stores, their catalogues or designer collections or magazines etc., and finalize a design and make few changes to it according to your taste. Thus, you get a new design. However, if you tried out both the options, but still not satisfied with either, don't worry because most of the online stores give you five options for customizing the ring.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
