I didn't decide on colors, but I guess they are now blue and orange because those are the colors I used in my logo. Kind of a backwards way of picking colors. I wanted to use turquoise, but it didn't stand out in front of the orange starfish, so I darkend the blue. So now I have colors.

The green cymbidium in this picture has purple pink / fuschia accents. You may want to take a hint from nature and use the green- maybe even a couple of shades of green and the fuscia from the orchid plus white. I think it would be a very clean crisp look.

My colors are Sienna, which is a burnt orange, and creme. The girls are in a sienna dress and the guys are wearing natural linen pants with a creme shirt. I think I am going to add some yellow and orange and creme in all of our flowers but accent the orange in mine and the creme in my bridesmaids. I love the blue colors but I stayed away from them because I did not want them against the ocean and sky for pics. I just don't think blue on blue will look right. For flowers and table settings it would be great!! The green sounds great. It does seem to be one of the hottest colors out there right now. Good luck!!

I love blue against the ocean.. Cain really wanted green for our wedding so we ended up going with green (I had cymbidium orchids & ivory roses in my bouquet) and ivory. But alot of our guest wore green and blue and it looked great.

I think those two colors can work together but I would love to hear what color combos everyone else is doing. I don't really have a vision for my reception yet and I am back and forth betwenn an all white one (hurricanes with shells and candles) or the green orchids with more of the green/blue accents. I really need to pick my colors for the invites etc. ASAP! Help please smile35.gif
I love both the green and turquoise idea. We are most likely going to stick to ivorys/creams/&sage green/with possibly a hint of plum here and there if I can work that in.

Damn, if you dont mind I might print a picture of your bouquet to show Marianna at our site visit. Its just so stunning I love it. I origianlly wanted callalillies and couldnt really find anything else that I liked better but your bouquet is the only thing that Ive seen that I have liked better than the plain callilillies. Ok so I cant spell calalillies?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
