Couples Sans Souci Wedding Review

Recommended Posts

So we did it!! Just got back from getting married at Couples Sans Souci Jamaica. It was perfect there, the location was beautiful and the service was top notch! I would recommend this place to any friend!!! The staff were amazing ALL of them!!!

The wedding coordinator was wonderful (Antonette)... Everything ran so smoothly and she was great.

I had my hair done by the salon on-site (Judith) and she did a fantastic job! I did my own make-up so can't speak to that.

We got upgraded flowers for (I wanted all white) and I ended up with an all orchid bouquet which I wasn't expecting... a nice surprise.

We used the wedding gazebo instead of the beach because it was more private... a personal choice... we did photos on the beach still though.

The photographer was great.. and to be honest we were a little worried not knowing what to expect but the photos were GREAT... more than we expected and just as good as something we would have gotten back home!

We had a private candlelight dinner for two in the spa gazebo and it was great.. the food there is amazing (especially in the restraunt up top by the front desk) We were never disappointed with our meals anywhere. We had champaine all day and another bottle with our room service breakfast in the morning.

The resort was clean and well kept... and our room was always done up beautifully for us everyday. And... did I mention how great the staff were... they really make you feel special each one of them... no matter who they are or what job they do they remember you (even your names) and really make you welcome! They totally made the trip for us!!!!

We will go back for sure.... maybe for an anniversary..... we don't regret a thing about making the choices we did to use this location... and we would do it all over again... this is the spot!!!!

Take care and I wish everyone a wonderful wedding and future together :)

Congrats on the wedding!!! Sounds like everything went smoothly and as planned.

An easy way to post pictures is to use the BDWF Photobucket account. There is a thread with specific info on that. Once the photo is uploaded you can paste the IMG link into your post and voila!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
