My FI did read about the mosquitos today on the palladiumaddicts site. I will have to go and get some extra spray. we went to GP last July and we didnt have any but I guess there are some there now. Better to be safe than sorry.
Since February (when I ordered my dress) I have lost almost 30 pounds. It was hard but it was worth it. I didnt want to have any regrets when I looked at my pictures. I am 41 years old too (my 2nd wedding- the right one, this time) so it was even harder to lose. My metabolism isnt what it used to be and working out was not easy...
When I went to try on my dress for the last fitting she had to take it in over 2 1/2 inches (and when I ordered it , it was 1 size too small) Yay!
Woodsylou - I saw how great you look on your planning thread. Good for you!
Well, I will be here if you 2 (my date twins ) want to chat - and anyone else LOL :)

Hey there, it's my 2nd time around too and I'm 37.. This time it is the RIGHT one!! :)
About the bugs..ask your WC, they may provide bug spray. I asked my WC about having bug spray provided and he said they do provide it and will have plenty..one less thing to pack!!!

btw AJ - isnt it better the 2nd time around? It is nice to be able to do things my way this time. When I was 24 and I got married , i did everything to make everyone else happy. Now, we wanted to be barefoot on the beach and we are doing it. We have 20 people coming - all of the "important" people will be there (parents, our kids, close friends) and everyone else is invited to a BBQ/party when we get back. It's nice to just do what feels right (with the right guy) . :)

Hi Im in the states and I will be moving to London after my wedding in december 2010. It would be nice to make some new friends since I will know no one there except my hubby. sigh. To be honest Im scared of the thought of moving so far away from all my family and friends.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
