I am also waiting on RSVPS to do my OOT bags and pick a package.

What does everyone have left to do? I still have to get rings, decorations, oots bags, and have final fitting. I have to start tanning in May and get our music finalized. Also have to write my vows. Wow....there's still so much to do! I don't know how anyone ever plans a wedding in less than a year!

Sweet Kelie! It sounds like you are on the ball!! Awesome! I like your idea of personalized towels and flip flops! Your guests will love that!

It was funny once I sent out my deadline of May 15, a few people emailed and said, I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it. I'm just wondering how long it would have taken them to tell me that if I hadn't told them there was a deadline that I needed to know by? sad.gif people can be so frustrating! Ah well! Two weeks and I will know for sure who is coming and then I start oot bags!! YAY!! I'm so excited to get started on them!

The date is July 18, 2010. We sent out the Save the Dates around November of last year with the wedding website to keep them updated regarding travel information. Then we sent out the official invitations late March with an RSVP request by the end of April. For those who haven't RSVP'd yet, we are planning to call or email them in two weeks to see if they are planning to come. I have already set up the group room contract and have forwarded it to those who have said that they will attend the wedding. All I need is the final list of people who are DEFINITELY coming so I can start purchasing OOT bags, favors, and place cards.

I have about 13 people who have already booked. About 12 are going to start booking by next week. I am waiting on about 10 more people to RSVP. The group contract link expires on May 28, 2010 after which, Moon Palace will release the remaining blocked rooms.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
