For all the brides having an Orange and Fuchsia Colour Theme

Recommended Posts

At first I was hesitant to have fuchsia and orange for my colors just because I knew that SO many other girls had them, but now I'm glad to have chosen colors in which I can get ideas from other brides! Here are my inspirations...

Flowers - The orange and fuchsia flowers will be arranged just like the white/pink bouquet for my bouquet

AHR Centerpieces - Although we will have fuchsia roses incorporated as well, and they will be a smaller version of this (with 4-5 roses per centerpiece)

Hi Everyone Here is a link for some photos so you guys can see my orange and fuchsia wedding! Now over and I just wanted to let you all know I am selling my real touch bouquet and boutonniere for $125.. It is from angelsaccents and she does absolutely amazing work! It feels and smells like the real thing! None of my guest believed me after I told them it was fake.. the insisted I was playing a joke! Also selling centerpieces I wasn't planning on selling because i am so in love with it, but we have an unexpected wedding out of the country and we need to save some money to go!! OH I will have to see what I still have lurking around... hopefully some stuff although I was married two years ago! This was my color combo, but I added brown last minute. I had a ton of photos in files and I will see if I can dig up DIY programs, menus and cake boxes. I wasn't thrilled with my flowers because I didn't get the bouquet I requested, BUT it WAS still pink and orange. LOL

I used plain white cake boxes and bought a bunch of different scrap book paper. I cut them to fit the boxes and printed my monogram on a nice thick paper. Glued those on top. Really inexpensive!

Sign that went next to the cake and boxes.

And in action... lol

Menus-

Orange and fushia cardstock. Printed on the same ivory, shimmery paper as the cake boxes and secured with a brown brad just for a fun detail.

Programs constructed the same way:

I will try to see if I can find the template for these. Naturally the monogram can't be used, but the orange flower design at the bottom can be used if anyone is interested.

Thank you tags that I attached to mini tequila bottles with rafia for the men and wrapped ribbon around pashminas for the ladies with these on top.

Used a thank you stamp on the other side.

Sorry no pic in action... I bought the tequila in MX and constructed in our hotel room prior to the wedding. I actually forgot the pashminas in my room so the ladies didn't get them til the day after the wedding. OOPS! See... even with years of planning things can still get messed up. Just gotta roll with it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
