I had such a great experience.  I definately found upgrading to a suite useful.  The extra space that it gives you really makes a difference when getting ready on your wedding day.  It has a nice mirrored dressed area.

 

There is no makeup artist on the ship so go to MAC or somewhere like it, and learn to apply your own makeup or bring someone who can do it for you.  I was MORE than happy with my hair stylist.  I can't remember HIS name but I think it was the only male in the salon.

 

A great OOT bag or as we did favor idea is monogrammed beach towels in your wedding color.  Our guests used them out and around the pools so even if they weren't at their chair you could see where people were set up.  (Carnival's towels and a navy color).

 

That's all I can think of....

Hopefully your wedding was all you hoped for.  I am planning to get married next year aboard the Liberty ship while in Grand Cayman, and wanted to know how was your experience.  Did you get married on the ship or at the island.  If on the ship would like to know what things you were able to do and what restrictions there were if any.  I am planning the Deluxe Romance package so I have an hour and a 1/2 for it.   Also if there are any pix that you can share of your day I would so greatly appreciate it.  My email is [email protected]

I'm getting married in less than 3 months in St Thomas via Carnival Liberty - the second sailing post-dry dock! I will be sure to post excessive amounts of photos for you all to see! If there are specific photos you want please let me know and I will make a list and be sure to take them. It has been so hard for me not having pictures of the view of the Steakhouse when you walk in, as I can't quite picture the layout of our reception/cake table/guest book table. I know I would appreciate someone doing this for me, so I'm happy to do it all for you future Liberty brides. Just send me an email - [email protected]

We're on the liberty next April. I can't wait to see what happens with the dry dock! I'll look for your pictures, thanks in advance for sharing!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
