Im going off the DEEP END

I think they are both very nice! You will look great in either of them.

Far more importantly, though, which one do you FEEL the best in? You need to feel stunning in your dress! Of course, if the alternation cannot be done in time for Dress #1 then I guess your choice is made! wink.gif

I completely understand where you're coming from. I myself was a four dress bride...I got so wrapped up in all these details, and all these things that you think are so important...and then you get to your wedding day, and you remember why you're getting married, and suddenly, all those pesky little irritants that get us so bothered melt away, and all you care about is the man you're saying "I do" to. So don't worry, you actually look beautiful in both dresses!! Believe it or not, the first one you think is a train wreck isn't that bad at all!! You'll have an amazing wedding even if you wore a trash bag, I promise :) Keep your head up, and don't second guess yourself. All will be ok!!!

Best of luck!

I definitely feel best in the second one but I feel like I need to keep looking but then again I feel like im running out of time. I have a call into the bridal salon where I ordered the dress but honestly have no idea what they will be able to do for me. I really dislike the first one on me. I cannot see myself walking down the aisle with that on.

Nope you got it right. I will actually have 3.5 because I have a TTD that I can't use and need to get rid of. It's really getting out of hand and I've already thrown away a lot of money, but I honestly can't make up my mind.

It's a long story how it became three dresses. The first time around I bought a GORGEOUS dress from a bride used and the chic lied about her measurements and it didn't fit.; so I was stuck with that one. The second one is in the one in the first pictures that I ordered sight unseen (and ordered way too big) and im working on my third. Can you tell im confused?!

thanks for your help!

Ladies thank you all so much for your time and I really appreciate your honest critiques. I'm waiting for the bridal salon to open so I can find out what's the deal with the dress because if they have already started the order I know a refund is out of the question. So then I will probably be stuck with another dress. I think to get a dress altered that much would be hideous and furthermore I am so not interested in wearing the first one...uuggh.

Thanks again and i will keep everyone posted.

Thank you. Im crossing my fingers that I am able to change the dress; espcially since I found out that the sales person was working from an old sizing chart.

Thanks!

OK, Kim, take a deep breath & back away from the bridal salon.

First of all, in no way does dress #1 look like a hot mess! You're nutso! You look gorgeous in both! That said, I totally understand that you don't want to wear it. Hopefully the store can help you out with canceling or exchanging it (are they from the same store?). If not & you're stuck with it, try posting it here or oncewed or somewhere.

If you feel like a bride & can see yourself marrying your honey in dress 2, then go for it. It really is beautiful. But, if you buy that one DO NOT keep looking! You're going to drive yourself crazy! or crazier! wink.gif

let us know how it goes!

Definite great argument for a refund!!! It would be ridiculous to have you pay for all the alterations the dress will need. So debate away! Keeping my fingers crossed for ya as well whatever you decide to do!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
