Now that's kind of DW planning, affordable and up for any promos :0) I found 2 years ago when booking ours mostly any hotel gives you bonuses for a DW but I guess that could have changed now.

 

I see you're really wanting everyone to come just give them plenty of notice and be prepared for some key people not to make it. It usually happens with DWs but if you prepare yourself now you'll be better off :0)

So I can have a welcome party on thursday, rehearsal dinner on Friday, Bridal Party breakfast on Saturday, wedding day events, farewell brunch on Sunday.. All for Free!!huh.gif Sounds too good to be true! Anyone else heard of this or taking advantage of a deal so amazing?

Congrats! And yes this deal is absolutely true... I was once considering Moon Palace because the property is absolutely beautiful and the horse and carriage entrance for the bride is just a "must do" thing there. But unfortunately for my guest the price is too pricey for the 3 nights. We are planning to get married December 18, 2010 there. They quoted me rates of like 1000 per person with air included. And since its a bit early I am waiting to see if they drop down a bit. But if they give you a better rate or you can afford this. It will be a beautiful wedding. They are all about accommodating and they are definitely on the ball. Happy Planning...

Here is a little bit to think about: What locations are available for your ceremony and reception?

 

~ Privacy is usually a big concern among brides, whether they are being married in their home town or travelling to a tropical destination.

 

The Mexico destination couple may envision their wedding on a remote section of beach sharing their vows with only each other, their guests, and Mother Nature. If this sounds like you, you will need to be very careful when choosing a resort.

 

Although some resorts can offer exactly what you are looking for, others just can't offer as much privacy. For example, hotels that are found within Playa Del Carmen are sharing the beach with many other resorts, as well as the locals (like us!). These beaches get very busy and beach weddings tend to attract a lot of uninvited guests. Such resorts may offer a garden gazebo or more private location away from the busy beach.

 

Sand is also a consideration. If you imagine yourself barefoot as you approach your soon to be husband, then sand is the perfect choice. High heals... not so conducive to sand.

 

Sun or shade? Gazebos offer shade for you and your guests. That Mexican sun can get pretty hot but it's probably part of the reason you chose to get married here! Don't worry, even when the ceremony location is in full sun the wedding coordinator will keep your guests in the shade until the ceremony is ready to begin.

 

~ Is it important for you to have a private area available for your reception and dance?

 

Not all wedding packages offer a private location for your party afterwards. Be sure to inquire about the available options, capacity of each, and whether or not there will be extra fees associated to booking them.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
