What will the men wear??

Recommended Posts

...not your BMs but the other men in the wedding party (Dad, FIL). I'm thinking of having the BMs wear linen suits with a shirt/no tie but have my Dad and FIL wear pants and possibly a guayabera shirt.

Does that sound off? Should I just make them all wear the same kind of outfit?

If you have any pics to show that would be great! Thanks!

My godfather (who will be walking me down since my father past a year ago) will be wearing an embroidered linen suit (that looks just like FI's). As for FIL and the others I have no idea, just so long as they don't have on sportswear or jeans I will be okay. I hope they were short sleeved button ups and khakis or something along those lines.

My dad was the one who had the problem of not wearing a suit. He's old school and couldn't imagine walking me down the chapel isle in a printed linen shirt or short sleeve shirt. So the dads are wearing linen suits. GM in khaki linen pants and white linen button downs and my FI is wearing a different color linen suit with tie.

Hope that helps =)

My dad is a cowboy and is wearing what he is comfortable in ~ his dress jeans, short sleeve linen shirt and his dress boots... I can't imagine him in anything else. FFIL is wearing khakis and a short sleeve linen short. No one will remember what they wear so let them be comfy. As long at it looks decent and doesn't take away from the pics or the moment no one will be looking at them!

We aren't getting married until May but we decided we aren't going to impose a dress "code" on anyone. We are just excited our family & friends are spending the money to come spend the time with us. I asked my MOH to wear a sundress and the guys linen pants & white short sleeve button shirt but if they don't, no harm.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
