It was great...I'm very happy with it. I'm keeping the decor pretty simple. I'm trying to find maracas and I'm not having any luck. I saw a ton there but I want them in solid pink and could not find them. Does anyone have any ideas?

also did you check with Kelly? ours were done through Las Caletas. we had solid color orange, green and pink, engraved with our info.

She is going to look into it for me. I love the Mishka design ones but they are over my budget and I just want them a solid color

Choeft201: try this website.  A lot of us have ordered from here and have wonderful results.  You can even email them and ask for a special color.

Hi Everyone!

 

My fiance and I stumbled upon this wedding forum last night and wow, you all have really made an impression on us about Las Caletas and all it's beauty.  We are up for something a little different for our wedding day and we think this is a great possibility. 

 

I have a question that I am hoping someone on this forum will know the answer to:

 

• We are thinking about an October 2011 wedding.  The sunset is at 5:30p and I read on here that the ceremony is typically at 6:30p.  I would prefer to not get married in the dark.  Do they move up the timeline to accommodate more of a daylight wedding?

 

Any tips or advice would greatly be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!

 

My guess is that yes, they adjust the time so that you aren't getting married in the dark!

I know there are some others around here that were married in Oct/Nov so I am sure they can chime in on that!

Yes, as far as I understood they move things around so that you are able to have the ceremony and get some pictures taken before dark. When you speak to Kelley (the wedding planner) she will be able to tell you the adjusted schedule
